ABOUT PROMISE LAND Built on family. Driven by music. Focused on what comes next. Based in Kentucky, Promise Land is part of the Promise Land creative collective—a growing independent music community built around family, friendship, collaboration, and a shared passion for creating exceptional music.

Founded on the belief that great music comes from both natural talent and the right creative environment, Promise Land brings artists and creatives together to develop ideas, refine their sound, and bring their vision to life.

MORE THAN A LABEL At Promise Land, music is personal. Our foundation is built on real relationships, with family, friends, and artists who have spent years working together, learning from one another, and growing through the creative process.

That bond extends beyond our personal relationships. We believe in building a team where every person brings something valuable to the table, every idea has room to develop, and the music always comes first.

THE SOUND. THE VISION. THE WORK Led by owner, producer, engineer, artists and creative Thaddeus Mays, Promise Land Studios brings music from the initial idea to the final record. From original beat production to recording, mixing, and mastering, our focus is on finding what makes each song special and making every creative decision count.

Our sound has no single lane. From R&B, trap, and soul to hip-hop, boom bap, country, and indie, we embrace different influences and believe the best music comes from authenticity, experimentation, and a willingness to push beyond expectations.

GROWTH Promise Land is more than what we create today. We're building a lasting creative network of artists, producers, engineers, songwriters, musicians, filmmakers, and visionaries who share a commitment to quality and a desire to grow together.

Our mission is to develop talent, elevate our artists and their work, create meaningful opportunities, and build a team capable of bringing ambitious ideas to life.

We're building something bigger than music. We're building a legacy.

Welcome to Promise Land.
